Have you or your child ever wanted to meet an author of your favorite books? Have you ever thought about writing a book? Have you wondered where to start?

Amy Makechnie, author of multiple critically acclaimed novels will be presenting “From Real Life to Fantastic Fiction.” In this presentation, Makechnie shares her journey on how she became a writer and where she came up with the ideas for her stories. She encourages young people to think creatively about their own lives and how they too can become writers.
