TIME TO RETURN YOUR ITEMS - BUT NOT EVERYONE AT ONCE, PLEASE!

Our phased re-opening plans include curbside delivery to be announced soon here and on our Facebook page...so stay tuned!

In the meantime, please return your items that you have had out since the library closed in March.  We are hoping there is not a mad dash for everyone to do so at once, but if you are in the area of the library, drop them off in the now open book drop.  We will be emptying the book drop on a regular basis and quarantining the items before checking them in.

We welcome the recent guidance from the Governor's Task Force on libraries reopening and will incorporate the guidelines into our phased reopening plans.  All emphasis will be on safety for staff and patrons as we navigate these uncertain times.

It is difficult to remember that the pandemic has been publicly dealt with for only three months, hardly time for the science to come forth that we need to safely guide us.  An evidence based report on how covid 19 affects and remains on library surfaces is due out this summer.
