OPEINING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2ND - RESUMING NORMAL HOURS
Reopening Thursday February 2nd at 1:00pm!
Yes, finally - welcome back! Though the library is not completely finished, we want our patrons back. You may see people working on the building while you are browsing - hanging window shades, hooking up technology, adding more wiring, delivering furnishings (and putting them together), and more.
But the books are in place (though maybe not in their permanent spot), chairs are available for quiet reading, using your laptop or for meeting a neighbor, and signs are in place (along with a handout map), to help you find your way. Public computers, printing, copying are ready and waiting.
You'll find a new youth library and separate teen room and lots of browsing space. And a new community room for library programs, and nonprofit and local government group meetings.
It's been a long time coming, but we are ready enough - can't wait to see you all!
There will be a grand opening late spring/early summer when the project is complete.
CURBSIDE SERVICE WILL CHANGE BEGINNING FEBRUARY 2, 2023
Now that the Gafney is open for browsing, curbside service will be limited to those who have difficulty walking from a vehicle into the Gafney, and will be available on Saturdays only, between 10:00am and 12:00pm - weather permitting.
You must already have a book on reserve - reserve on the catalog after logging into your account.
Call the library (603.522.3401) between 10:00am and 12:00pm on "good weather" Saturdays, and we will bring your reserved items to your vehicle.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Together we have raised $1,400,000 for the library expansion, community room and renovated main area. We now need to raise the final $150,000 to complete the fundraising "Last Chapter."
Please click on the Expansion Donation button below to donate, and watch the red rise on the outdoor fundraising thermometer.
