Every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence. At the Gafney Library, we strive to make our services accessible to people of all abilities, and we have invested resources to ensure that the library is welcoming and comfortable for all. We have also worked alongside our website developer to ensure that our website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities.

The Gafney Library offers:

  • Wheelchair accessible restrooms, entrances, parking, and computer workstations
  • An elevator (also wheelchair accessible)
  • A walker available for use within the library
  • Book delivery service upon request
  • Curbside pickup on Saturday mornings from 10–12 (with arrangements)
  • Audio books: We have a selection of CD audiobooks at the library, and we can help you access downloadable audiobooks using OverDrive and Libby.
  • Large print books: We have a limited collection of large print books at the library, and we can help you locate a wide variety of titles through the interlibrary loan system.
  • Sensory-friendly, quiet spaces and calming locations

We’re here to help!
