We can’t do it without you.
As an independent nonprofit organization, the Gafney Library is responsible for raising our operating income. In addition to several fundraisers, we rely on donations to keep the library going. Donations help us maintain the library and:
- Expand programming for all ages: Inspiring young minds, fostering a lifelong love of reading and learning, and providing high-quality programming that defines our library.
- Update our technology: Ensuring everyone has access to the digital resources they need to succeed.
- Enhance our ADA compliance efforts: Ensuring the library is a welcoming and accessible space for everyone.
The Gafney Library is a 501(c)3 organization (Tax ID 02-0235170) so all donations are tax-deductible. You may donate via PayPal (no PayPal account necessary), or by mail.

Other Ways to Help
- Volunteer! We love volunteers at the Gafney Library, and enthusiastic volunteers are an essential part of our programs, events, and day-to-day operations. Contact us to learn about volunteer opportunities.
- Support us on social media. Help us reach more people by letting the community know about our programs and events!
- Buy a wreath. We hold a wreath sale every year in the late fall / early winter. It's a great way to celebrate the season and support the library!
