    June 7, 2025  10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Gafney Library was awarded a grant from the Children’s Literacy Foundation.

With this grant we have a new 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

We will be holding a kickoff event!

    Sign-Up Event: Saturday, June 7th, 10am-1pm

Let’s Read 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten!

Are you ready for a reading adventure? Snuggle up, grab your favorite stories (yes, re-reading that book a million times totally counts!), and let’s see if you can read 1,000 books before your little one heads off to kindergarten.

Along the way, you’ll earn stickers, surprises, and super-fun prizes—just for sharing stories together!

Come on into the library, sign up, and get started.

Your next great story is waiting!
