ANNUAL MEETING WITH SHOW AND TELL OF NH ITEMS

Have you ever wanted to learn calligraphy? Stop into the library at any point during the day to learn the techniques to calligraphy without the use of any special pens!

Join us for a special art inspired movie night!

We’ll be showing:

Billy Elliot (Rated R, for language), a comedy-drama, about a young working-class boy in 1980's England, who has dreams of becoming a ballet dancer.

Popcorn will be provided.  

Join the NH Astronomical Society and us, as we examine the skies! 

This event takes place at the Wakefield Ballfields. We suggest to bring a flashlight and to dress warmly.

One of the best things about summer is going to the beach and making a sandcastle!

In this hands on activity, youths will have the opportunity to create their own sandcastles to take home (created out of sandpaper!) and without all the mess! 

Come try your hand at our new 3Doodler pens! With the press of a button, plastic extrudes and hardens rapidly allowing you to literally create anything!

Do you like to play mini golf? Today we will be playing a mini- golf in the youth library! 

Join us for the hands on activity in which youths will have the opportunity to try weaving!

Youths will be creating a wall hanging, which they will than be able to take home. 

Keep the spirit of Summerween going by making this ghost garland to decorate your space with! Stop by the library at any time during the day to create yours to bring home.

Once a month, September - December, 2025, a Community Resource Coordinator from Tri-County CAP will be spending a Friday at the library to meet with anyone who may have questions or need assistance with services.

Some services they can help with is fuel assistance, transportation, housing, free diaper program, free winter clothing and more.

No appointment is needed, just stop by the library during the date and time of visit.

Come and meet children's author Megan Litwin! She will holding a special storytime and reading her book "Dirt & Bugsy: Bug Catchers." After storytime, Megan will talking about dirt and bugs in a special craft, where youths will have an opportunity to fill their own "bug jars" in creative ways!

Do you have a pet at home or maybe a favorite animal? In this hands on activity, we will be drawing a picture of your pet, or favorite animal, which you can then being home to hang.
